how this site is made
The short version
Site coded on GitHub. All music, lyrics, and art on this site are 100% human-made. Digital infrastructure assisted by artificial intelligence tools.
Human-made
Every song, lyric, cover and piece of artwork, and the photography, is made by Nathan Etes. No music, lyrics or images made by artificial intelligence are used on this site or in Nathan Etes's releases.
Early releases (juniper, CTY-S) were mastered with an automated AI mastering service. Mastering is now done by hand.
How the site is built
The site is coded on GitHub and published through Cloudflare. Artificial intelligence tools assist with the digital infrastructure: writing and organizing the site's code, layout, search metadata and settings. What goes on the site is my decision.
